For Success in Network Marketing - Learn To Accept “NO”

I've got a question for you, How many times have you been rejected?
(No, I'm not talking about from someone of the opposite sex ;-)
What I mean is; how many times has someone told you that they're not interested in joining your M.L.M company?
I'm willing to bet anything that more people have told you "No" than have told you "Yes"
Well guess what: the same is true for me and all of the other successful networkers out there.
Rejection is part of this industry and the reality is that there is no way around it. Nobody (especially me) has a 100% "Yes" ratio. Nevertheless, there are times where it seems that EVERYONE wants to tell us NO. And the reality is that those times can be rough. It's really easy to want quit working your mlm company and move on towards the "next bright light" - but the reality is that you probably need to change your mindset BEFORE you change companies.

Here are a few things to remember regarding rejection

1. It's gonna happen - PERIOD. And it's ok if someone say's no. What's more is that people will say "no" regardless of what company you are in.

2. Do not take it personally, 99% of the time it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the person you are trying to recruit. Maybe the timing is just bad for them or they really don't have $300 to get started...whatever the reason, they aren't rejecting YOU as a person.
3. If your network marketing company has you talking to people on the phone, then it's a good idea to educate yourself on how to become better at selling. People like Brian Tracy and Zig Ziglar have some very powerful information that can really help you.
4. It is always better to have interested people seek you out as opposed to you seeking them out. This way you have a higher probability of getting them into your company.
Something important to note is that reason #4 is a huge part of the thinking behind what I consider to be the “mlm revolution” that’s occurring in our industry. The revolution I’m talking about is a shift towards using the internet to find motivated prospects and then pre-qualify them – as opposed to approaching strangers on the street or bugging friends and family continuously.
Oops… I kind of got off track there ;-)
But as far as rejection goes, I don't care if your name is “Captain Networker”, you will still NEVER have 100% of people say yes. I will guarantee you this though; the MOST successful people in our industry have been rejected 10,000 times more than those who haven't quite hit pay dirt yet. Remember that last statement when things get difficult and you think you want to quit ;-)
